10 Commandments
Posted by JJ | Filed under Jacob
Jacob finished memorizing the Ten Commandments this last week and I am so very proud of him. He recited them for the pastor and some of the people at our church and they were very impressed. Some were even motivated to memorize them too! Well done my son, well done.

Official Idahoans
Posted by JJ | Filed under Friends, Movies/Pics, The Kids
We spent the majority of the week, packing, moving, cleaning, and unpacking. We rented a small home in CDA near my office (see above pics). Moving is really not that much fun at all but I am glad we finally made it out to Idaho. It’s truly a wonderful state and CDA is a great city. Thank you all for your prayer and moving help, as we couldn’t have done it without you. Mom and Shay helped us move and helped watch the kids. Chad helped me with all the heavy lifting and packing up the truck. Thank you guys!
Happy 60th Anniversary!

My grandparents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on April 24. Today, the whole family got together and celebrated the milestone. We wish that the Honeycutt crew could have made it out there to share in the festivities, but our thoughts sent lots of love their way today. I posted a few pictures on our photos page.

Shaving Cream

Spring seems to have forgotten about Spokane this year, so to keep the kids busy inside, JJ thought it would be fun to let them play in some shaving cream foam. They had so much fun and made such a mess!
New Beginnings

The Honeycutt’s have been going thru some changes in their lives as of late, so to commemorate this time I thought it appropriate to update to WP 2.5 and customize a new, fresh, WP Theme.
The biggest of our changes is that we are moving to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho from our Greenacres, Washington home. We decided on the move for a couple reasons. First, I am leasing office space for my business in CDA. Second, many of our friends and family live in Idaho. Third, Idaho is way cooler than Washington. The move takes place at the end of the month.
We also are looking for a new church. I won’t get into the details of why, but I will tell that the reason were many. The decision was made after much prayer and a little push by the Lord. Please pray for us while we search for a new church home.
As you all know from the last few posts, Ruthie is now wearing glasses. I will get some pics up of her in them soon. You can find one I took with my camera phone on my Facebook page. It definitely falls into the category of new experiences. Sara and I are very proud of how well Ruthie is doing with them. She is such a beautiful little girl.
On a lighter note, Chad and I started a new survival web zine called Survival Digest. You can find it at www.survivaldigest.com

Happy Easter
Posted by Sara | Filed under General

We had a great Easter Sunday today. Ruthie and Sam woke up to a few candy treats then we got all dressed up to go to Easter brunch at our church followed by a special Easter service. JJ gave a five minute message during the church service that focused on the life and ministry of Jesus which he summed up using the beatitudes. He did a great job and I’m really proud of him. After church we took a little rest then headed over to Shay’s house for a yummy ham dinner. We had a nice time there then headed home. We had such a great day, but the best part of it was remembering the amazing gift that Jesus gave to us when “up from the grave He arose!”
Ruthie Gets Glasses
Posted by JJ | Filed under General
We found out the other day that our Ruthie girl is far-sighted. We actually noticed that her right eye has been crossing for the last couple weeks. The poor little thing now has to wear glasses full time. We are taking her to get her new “Special Princess Glasses” tomorrow and hope she will have little problems adjusting to the lifestyle change. I’ll post some pics of her in her new glasses soon.
Mom is 51

Isn’t Ruthie the best little prayer you’ve ever seen? Just adorable. I just learned that I can upload video from my Blackberry straight to Youtube! How awesome is that.
